Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

I don’t know what you think I make…
But as a poor business law student, I cannot afford fancy things like Shiro’s and paper plates.
I’m not making retired wood carver/general contractor in in Massachusetts money here…

You know how you end up with 1 million dollars doing wood working?

You start out with 2 million!

Nice ramen! Wife and I went out to the front porch and watched the eclipse. Sucked for us. Didn't even get dark a little.
We were supposed to be 95 totality. Guess we needed to be further west. We did watch it go across but the bottom stayed bright the whole time.

Yeah, really didn't get that dark here at around 92 totality. Seemed to take the glare off everything. Looked pretty cool through a welding mask, but that was about it.

Another corned beef.
This time slow cooked in the crock pot all day with onions, carrots, mini potatoes and a full bottle of bear. Tasted ok but wasn't as tender and stringy as the last one.

My service writer brought in glasses but she couldn't see shit with them so I let her use my welding helmet. Looking out the bay doors was like looking through tinted glass, kinda weird.

1st time trying it on recommendation of one of wife's coworkers. It had good flavor, but noodle texture was a little spongey. You're supposes remove some water and stir fry it with the sauce. It was still a little soupy maybe. Think Shin is better.

It was meh here in StL.
I was with the kiddos in 2017 for the total eclipse, and that was cool.

Real estate lawyers do not go to Valhalla. This is known.
Defense attorney’s maybe…but real Estate attorney’s do not.

On the off chance you are referring to Kuraki’s forge…you don’t have a hair on your ass if you don’t visit in the winter during a 100 year blizzard.
