Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

A waved Spyderco Delica and a Kwaiken by Dynamik Blades aka Smithy
___________________________________________________
OTTOMH

Easily available:
ZT

Semi-available (regular drops but will sell out):
CRK
Hinderer
Koenig

Then you get to midtech stuff that's much harder to snag, and there are too many to really list but guys like
Les George
Jonathan McNees
Brad Southard
Demko

Of course there's the full production stuff:
Spyderco
Hogue
Kershaw
Microtech
Protech

Medford
Olamic
Emerson
Spartan

In my typical retard fashion, I wound up having to complete this in the dark, quietly using hand tools only so as not to disturb the neighbors on the only day where there is no rain and I have off. Climbing on a damp and slick composite railing in the dark, about 15 feet off the ground to put roof panels onto a gazebo at 4 am isn't the dumbest thing I've ever done...which upon reflection speaks to all the dumb shit I've done in my life.
OSHA would not have been amused.

This should have been my submission for "Wharncliffe Wednesday" but can work as "Flipper Friday".

If you look closely, the embossed logo shows a Harp for Harp ale, the glass also has a Harp logo painted on as well.
The glass is also labeled Guinness.
A true Black and Tan beer is Bass Amber Ale with Guinness Stout layered on top of the Bass.
However, I've seen and served Harp and Guinness when asked. The two flavors complement each other.

Harp ale and Guinness stout are two different beers, although Harp is/was owned by Guinness.

I posted in here like a month ago crying about losing my para 3 while clearing brush. Today my brother and I cut up some downed trees in the same area we had been clearing about a month ago and he found it in the mud.

Its just a pocket knife but I have had a smile on my face all day, I carried this thing everyday for 2+ years before I lost it.

Any tips on what I should do to it since its been outside for a month? I took an old tooth brush and some dawn dish soap and scrubbed all the mud off, only rust I found was in two tiny places on the pocket clip where I had worn the finish off previously and it was just bare metal.

I have never taken it apart before I guess I should to check for rust and debris?

What about some kind of oil?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Just take it apart and clean it up, then put it back together. I don't think those have washers so probably don't even need oiled but a drop of gun oil or similar wouldn't hurt anything.

Thanks for the advice, I took it apart, cleaned it up, and put a light coat of rem oil on all the metal bits. It opens and closes buttery smooth again now.

I didn't think to take pictures of the inside but I didn't see any rust or pitting on anything, just mud.

Cooked them all to a perfect 130 to 150 degrees. I'm the only one that likes them med. rare. The rest all want well done. This was just starting.

Nice!

Temp chart is too high on all counts.

Well done?! Why waste the filet on them, then? Might as well cook up some round steak at that point. Still, sounds like a great afternoon, other than the ruination of several pounds of good steak.

Is it at least a little entertaining, though? I'm always looking for something to add to my elliptical machine distraction queue. I've watched a fair number of movies that I would normally have resented as a waste of time, had I actually sat down specifically to watch them, but don't mind so much when it's just killing 40-60 minutes of time that I'm not going anywhere anyway.

Having those glasses without the relief, I think it would look weird with the print on the part in between the reliefs due to the sculpted lines of the glass.

The bar that used to exist a couple blocks away had the most amazing burgers. Super convenient, I'd call when I left work and they'd be ready when I got there. The place smelled like a toilet and they never paid their taxes, but the burgers never failed. Unfortunately, they boarded up and I don't think anyone has looked at reopening it. They started out pretty cheap. We could get 2 burgers and fries for ~$10. Before they closed up it was ~$22.

Hundreds of Beavers is slapstick humor. Bit of fun. Mostly physical comedy, very few words in it, so even an attorney can understand it.
