The little chickenshit should be force fed a gallon of bleach. |

I don't like to eat fish and not a fisherman
But that piece of shit killed for no reason Hope he pays for life |
|
That little weasel should be given the largest fine and longest jail sentence possible. He has impacted the lives of thousands of fishermen.
|
|
|
Poacher ?
They should make his life hell and garnish his wages until it's paid back |
|
No fine because he'll never pay it, 30 years in prison instead would work. No chance of parole.

Break the bones in his hands and feet.
See if he appreciates being able to walk around and feed/dress himself. |

Crying over 25,000 fish that were killed in truck accident a few weeks ago.
Deadly Salmon Truck Crash Prompts PETA Memorial Urging Empathy for Fish For Immediate Release: April 8, 2024 Contact: Nicole Perreira 202-483-7382 La Grande, Ore. To memorialize the more than 25,000 young salmon who were killed when a tanker truck overturned near Lookingglass Creek on March 29, PETA plans to place a sky-high message near the site reminding everyone that the crash victims were thinking, feeling individuals who didn't want to die. i'm me not meat - fish ad, billboard "The fish who were killed in this crash felt the same terror and agony that any dog, cat, or human would feel if they were suffocated or crushed to death," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "PETA urges everyone to have empathy for salmon and other fish and to go vegan." |

Make him eat ALL the dead salmon. And he has to wash it down with buckets of Larks vomit.

I'm really starting to hate these types, it took me too long to get her.

He should have to pay for every one of those fish. I don't care if he's making payments until he dies. That was completely senseless.

My google Fu is week, but fingerlings are probably sold by the lb - and I doubt they cost all that much per pound and there could be hundreds of fingerlings in a lb. Now that price rises rapidly as you start dealing with larger sized fish - but the pictures to me look pretty close to fingerlings. So honestly, my initial wag is that is probably less than $2k of fish.
When you look at the numbers used in the article, they are starting with the value of an adult fish then assuming that all the fingerlings would live that long. I think in nature those fingerlings have about 1% survival (maybe less) from that size to mature. |

That's still a pretty big deal and financial impact. Still wondering if mental illness or drugs were a factor, that's just....odd. Dude went through quite a bit to do that. |

View Quote That is a guy who probably should stay away from the coastal boat ramps for a while….some of those folks might throw him in. What a fucking dipshit. Claiming he was high on MJ is a cop out- he likely is that way all day long… |

Ive seen dumbasses purposely open gates to let livestock onto roads.

Quoted: He will never be made to pay a penny View Quote I know debtor's prisons were eliminated a long time ago, but we need to rethink this for some crime (maybe most willful crime). If restitution is a part of your sentence, you stay in prison until restitution is paid, either by your family or by you working it off in prison. The only way to hold people accountable. |

Serving an hour in jail for each of those fish is a two year sentence.

The maximum civil penalty in Oregon for illegal take of a single Chinook salmon is $750. Courts have the authority to multiply that amount by the number of fish taken, with a judgment in this case potentially raising the amount to over $13 million, according to Sergeant Harris.
$750 times 17,890 fish is one hell of a fine. |

There are a lot of sickos in this world anymore. Darwin needs to thin the herd.

Quoted: Are you saying that what he did was OK? Or just that it wasn't all that bad? Or maybe, "Fuck a bunch of baby fish." View Quote That's not the way I took it, opinions vary. It was massively wtf, but it's also true that per the article only 2-400 (vs 18,000) of those fish would have reached adulthood to be fished by anglers. Both are true at the same time. If you're charging someone for financial impact, this might be relevant. There's no doubt there's something wrong with dude. |
