Got a ticket once, in far west Texas, doing 137 mph in a 55 zone.  The nice DPS officer did an on-site "safety inspection".

Went to college in a minty red '77 Trans Am with the 400cid Pontiac and it was fun and a looker.  Only year to dethrone Corvette as America's quickest/fastest sports car, IIRC.

Had a mint stock '69 Z-28 that was a blast, but just missed the '70s.

Dad had a 1971 Buick Electra 225, that thing had  back seat in it the size of our living room couch. Drove my date to  the Jr. Sr. Prom in that car. Damn I have fond memories of that car.

I think I would sell my house before I sold that...

I owned a 70 Challenger RT, that I sold to my dad back in 1992, he restored it back to factory original. It's sublime lime with some fairly unique options.
