Quoted: What round for elephant? View Quote Hopefully only a tranquilizer and the elephepant can be sent to an elephant rescue. There are certain animals that I believe have a near-human like mind, and elephants are one of them. Being all couped up in a cage makes an animal like that crazy. They might not rate rights in the same way humans do, but they surely rate basic dignity. |

View Quote The Erwin Elephant hanging immediately came to mind. |

I’ve been in East TN most of my life and had not heard about the Erwin Elephant hanging.
Truthfully it perfectly represents something our community would do. TOP that FL man… Tennesseans hanging elephants since 1916. |

You'll need more than a few helpers & some space-aged fibers, but roping it would make you world famous & be the coolest story ever for some local cowboys!0

I am thinking how many boots, holsters, belts and wallets could be made.
Know of a few holster makers that can do the magic. |

Police killed it with MP5s. 9mm was apparently perfectly adequate. |

When I lived in Bangkok, there was a mahout with a female elephant walking down Sukhumvit near Nana SkyTrain station. Well, apparently there was another mahout on a side street (Soi 11) with a bull elephant. He wasn't in must (periodic testosterone surge condition), but apparently just having a female around had him ready to go.
When 2 elephants decide they're going to do the deed and block one of the world's busiest streets, there's not much 2 skinny Thais can do about it. That was the moment I (and everyone else on the street) discovered that elephant penises are about 6 feet long and prehensile like their trunks. They also produce what can only be described as copious amounts of fluid. People hooting and hollering, horns blaring, and 2 mahouts screaming in Thai at the elephants. Actually a pretty dangerous situation, but one of the funniest things I have ever seen. |
