It's that time of year again so start saving your "Benjamins", especially if you live near Tulsa!
BIG-ASS TULSA GUN SHOW!!! Since the AWB will have been dead for nearly 6 weeks, this should be one of the BEST shows in years... Thank God I live less than 10 miles from the Fairgrounds!!! |
I grew up in Tulsa.
I will have to make a trip for it this year. |
btt 'cause this REALLY needs a tack...
Maybe we can set-up an AR15.com table and sell arfcom merchandise...might be a good way to sell a few premium memberships, too. I'd be willing to donate some of my time to man the table. ilikelegs is one of the few ar15.com members that I've met & it was at the Tulsa Gun Show... Just a thought... |
I'm going to make the trip again for sure........it's huge.......
I'll pass, its to far away and as a CT resident private party sales there are a no no
You cannot possibly imagine how much you just explained with those five nasty little words!! |
I'm going, I live 20 minutes away so it's way too close for me to pass up!

Im not going to be in any gun show on those days.
The 23rd is the day before opening day of rifle season, and the 24th is the opening day of rifle season. any ideas as to what im gonna be doing? |
I don't like guns, they are bad and scary and evil.
And I'm too broke to go. |
11.5 acres under one roof...over 3800 tables. |
so now we know you live in OK |
I have one word for you now. Sooners |

Anything but hand guns. |
Ehh, we allready had two gun shows since the ban ended. Sold my SP1 and picked up a Kimber and a RRA lower!
Jesus, that's a lot of beef jerky. What on your agenda sgtstinger? HS1 |

Well, since I've dropped about $1500 on parts and accessories for my AR & M1A in the past 5 months, my funds are sort of limited. In other words mrsstinger has "cracked the whip". I'm probably just going to pick up 1000 rounds of either Aussie or Port .308 ammo and call it a day...it's still fun to walk around & look, though. |

I may get into reloading. So I may buy the stuff up there.
Otherwise I want a FAL with folding stock. My dad has been wanting an underfolder AK47. I just bought one. Now he wants me to sell it to him. Not gona happen. but I might give him my other parts set that I have for him to use on the Mak90 I gave him 3 years ago. |

I have been going down once a year to the spring show. No beanie babies and damn little jerky. There will be huge selection of Winchester rifles, so many you will get sick of looking at them. Also a huge selection of Colt revolvers. There will be three unusual guns that will make you say, "Cool".
If the nutcase with the black smithed lever action rifle he credits to Ned Christie is there this fall, tell him he is full of shit. It's an interesting gun, but Christie didn't make it, and particularly not in prison as that seller alleges. Prices get reasonable by 12:30 or 1:00 on Sunday when the deals start in earnest. There is also a secret at this show - I'm interested if anyone knows what it is or figures it out. |
This is the best gun show.
It is huge. It is AC/Heated. They limit the amount of crap like jerky, t-shirts and beanie babies that are allowed. There are good deals if you spend some time. A few of us will probably be getting together to go. If we had an ARFCOM table with gear to sell I would volunteer time to help run the table. I live a few minutes away, so if this does happen let me know if we need help seriously. |
I'll be there on sat.
I've been going for years and want to know what the "secret" is. I just hope there are no ADs this year. |
Just ONE Week...
LINK TO THE MOTHER OF ALL GUN SHOWS!!! Over 11 Acres of GUN PORN!!!! Who all is going to come out and do their part of helping our economy and supporting the Second Amendment, both at the same time? We ought to set up a time & place to meet... I met ilikelegs at this show once...I KNOW there's going to be a bunch of arfcommer's there... |
A BIG +1 to that... |
Alas, I have to park cars at my fraternity for the Homecoming game against Georgia, where we will probably lose by at least 20. *sigh*
At least we will make some good money. We made $1900 for the Texas game. |
3,000+ tables!? The largest fun show I've been to was 500 tables. Sounds like fun, and sweaty. I can feel the cramps in my legs from just thinking about walking around now.
Too bad it's in occupied territory (Tulsa is a liberal town - for Oklahoma!)
I'll be there in the Spring. 3000 tables at ~8 feet long means about 5 miles of tables to see.
Our local shop drove out and has a few tables. I missed this trip as it was not my turn. Next time
CH |
WTF you talking about? |
"Half right, face! Front leaning rest position, move! In cadence, excersize..." |
Bla bla bla..
Been covered before. I lived in Oklahoma for a couple years, I went to the Wanenmacher's show, yes it's awesome. Tulsa is liberal city FOR OKLAHOMA. Back in 1999 where was the biggest Million Mom March? Not in Oklahoma City. I went to Tulsa to march in the counter MMM. What city in Oklahoma wanted to ban handguns? Not OKC, that's for sure. Try Tulsa under the leadership of the old democrat mayor. Want more?
