How goes it?

Just found out my friend im supposed to visit in Moonroe, LA next weekend said they "found" 3 of her friends in the Pearl River area 1 mile from where they were holed up. And they havnt found or heard from 2 other friends or her mom.

It's a sad day today.

So, they stayed after being told to unass, or they were in a "safe" location? Found is a little vague, but I assume you mean found the bodies. My sympathy, but they were warned.

Yo, I am here in Texas with A/C and tv and internet , while alot of people are suffering.

I can't imagine the thing facing those people.

Bad day. Big blow out with the girlfriend. She was caught doing thigs she shouldn't have been doing. I said some pretty nasty stuff. Looks like we won't make it.

Im not sure why they were down there, but they were.... They were in a police department so im assuming 1 or 2 were LEO, so maybe thay had a reason, but ill never know, and i didnt pry, I just lets her talk about whatever. And yes, "found" as in found lifeless bodies.

I know it doesn't mean a hell of a lot from someone you don't even know, but tell her I'm terribly sorry.

Awe man, don't say that. it will only get it's attention.

Serious though, I am preparing too. Only thing is I gotta make sure the family bugs out if one gets to be as bad as NO and I have to "bug in" regardless. Only bad thing about my job is being apart from my family while SHTF.

I just got word we are not going to NO. Seems they have plenty of LEO/EMS/NG enroute and the LA govenor sent a gracious thank you to our command staff for the support. In all, 22 of us volunteered to go. Prayers out to those who are helping out and who are in need of it.
