 I have been trying for the last few years and even more in the last year since we have had twins to get her to get that little card and she always said "Well why, you always carry?" My reply is that I am NOT ALWAYS with her. It took an Oprah show yesterday about all those f*%$ing child molesters out there and how they are always getting released because of one thing or another. Then it was the show NCIS last night about a serial killer. She had nightmares involving our daughters and has finally decided that I might be right that there are just to many shit bags out in this world these days. So we are heading to the gun store tomorrow to find her a good carry gun and then to find her a good concealed class to take! My conversion of her is finally complete!!! |

I am waiting for my girlfriend to do the same thing.

That is fantastic news! My wife wanted to carry, went thru the class, passed with flying colors and I'll be damned if she didn't let it lapse after it's expiration. When asked, all she said was "I just wanted to do it"

Ironically, my wife said the same thing to me yesterday! She recently took the hunter saftey course and enjoyed it very much. It was the first time she ever shot ANY firearm. She had expressed interest in taking the pistol course but never got around to it. Yesterday she was at the grocery store and some guy was kindof following her around and creeping her out. Needless to say, nothing came of it, but she came home and said she wanted to take the course, etc. and start carrying. It's like watching a child take it's first steps, very proud! |
