Got the last ep of the first season saved on TIVO. (thank you WGN) Hope I get the time to watch it this weekend. 24 is one of the main reasons we broke down and bought the TIVO anyway. Can't wait.

going to purposely ignore it and wait next year for the Season 5 DVD to come out. Just finished season 4 last week took only 4 days. I dont see how you all can wait a whole week between episodes! It would drive me nuts

I watched the first season, missed two and three, watched four, and will watch 5. Jack rocks, but I think it is about time to do a season of 24 with a whole new start and new characters.

Any 24 junkies who never got into "The Shield": get to work. Season 4 just came out and it's fantastic. Highly recommended.

You mean they didn't kill that turd after Season 4???
 Don't get me wrong- Season 1 was one of the greatest things I've ever seen on television; Season 2 may have been the greatest tv series season EVER; Season 3 was pretty good even though they were kind of stretching; but Season 4? I don't even want to talk about it. Now you're telling me they're coming out with a Season 5? Good God man, give it up already- the shark got bored and went home already... |

I wait for the DVDs. When season 4 came out I watched it in a 36 hour period - two sessions of twelve episodes in a row. When season 5 comes out I am going to ride the snake and watch all 24 episodes straight through.
Then again I am the person that watched all three extended editions of the LOR trilogy in a row. |

The last season of 24 was good (watched it in a row during a 12 hour shift). My question is how is the show going to go on without good ol jack....or....is jack going to become a one man terrorist fighting force (just how the hell could he come back after the ending of season 4)? Remove Jack, and the show is nothing but a bunch of childish, kibbitzing, non-decision making fools that are more worried bout their data "pipes" and such. I wouldn't have enjoyed the last season without Jack, because without Jack, nobody would have gotten anything done except to run around in circles, not being able to make those tough calls and put their asses on the line (for the most part, there were some characters in the show that did, but not without Jack prompting them to).

Tivo is without a doubt one of the three best bits of technology in my house. I would NEVER be without a Tivo ever again (so please don't go under!!!). And now they have started to make internet vidcasts like Rocketboom available I think I will be spending more time in front of the TV and less time watching my PC. |
