Cool.  Those dorks actually look like they've had some training.

That scene was as good as any of the lightsabre handling in the Empire Strikes Back.

Neat effects, alot of work done there, and they're still dorky teenagers. You can have creativity, spend alot of money, work really hard and still be vagina repellant.

The guy reappearing after he died was a schtick on the guy's film-making experimentation.

Go hear to read more:  voicefilms.typepad.com/voicefilms/2004/06/lightsaber_kid_.html

And yes, he's got mad skills and it got him noticed.   He was hired by Lucas Arts.

Getting drunk and hunting tail.  Niether of which were worthy uses of time.  I can't see the video because I don't install flash but if it got him noticed and hired for special effects I'm sure his ability to buy some pie just got better.  Money makes men more attractive real sudden like.

Is the guy that got hired the stocky one or the skinny one?

Nm, followed the link, it's the skinny guy.

Very well done on a limited budget.  As to nerds?  Bill Gates at a high school graduation once gave his rules for life.  One was not to pick on nerds, you may wind up working for them.

It's called "The Art of the Saber" and was made by a couple of brothers who are pretty skilled in Shaolin or similar chinese arts, inlcuding some Wushu.  Very, very fast, very, very tight.

I'll try to find a link.
