Donate a 8" block and ship it to DC and you are in.
Quoted: Donate a 8" block and ship it to DC and you are in. Do you realize how cool it would be if every person pissed off about this shit (illegal Aliens/wide open borders) actually shipped a cinderblock to the capitol? just a thought After some quick and sketchy research....it looks like it would cost around $10.00 to send one brick via USPS. A cinderblock would be cool but expensive. 1000's of bricks showing up in the capitol mailroom would be fricken awesome! More to come and how you can get in on this great idea! I just wanted to give credit to the following people for helping with getting this idea started. Sorry i missed you guys in the original post. axl BustinCaps MightySwede 22bad Original arfcom link |

best bet would be to attatch a note saying "since you have trouble building a wall, here's a start"
Plenty more where that one came from That was friggin hilarious |
Sweet! If anyone needs a brick I have an entire pallet in my yard that the previous homeowner left behind. I may consider shipping bricks in anyone's name that wants to donate the postage.
We should all decide on one day to send them. This way they will all get there within the same week. I dont have lots of Extra Cash, but I could probably spare 10$ if I we can get Lots of Participation. I dont want to be the only one to send a Brick and have My 10$ be almost a complete waste

If this takes off I'm in for one of Wirebrush's bricks. |
Got this off a visitors guide website...couldn't find it on a .gov site yet to confirm.
"For mailing purposes, the Capitol Building address is Capitol Building Washington, DC 20515." |
I Still think we should Pick a Date to do this
-We should get this Thread Tacked. -Lets Get the little Folder burning too. -Add a poll to See What Kind of Participation could be Expected. -Spread the Word to other Forums -Tell Your Friends and Family Link to poll for date |
I promise you that you will not be the only one to send a brick |
I am so fucking in for the mail a brick campaign. As I'm currently out of bricks I may just sponsor 1 or 5 from wirebrush.
I MAY be able to sponsor one of Wirebrush's bricks.
Hopefully, this isn't illegal in letter or spirit of the law. It'd suck to have ARFCOM shut down as a conspiracy website and have all our asses in jail. |
+2 bricks here. If this were to take off it could be a very good thing with the right exposure and a little push... --VT |

Yeah if not a specific date how about a specific week Lots of people going to the Post Office or UPS and sending Bricks to DC Maybe we can get a few Radio Talk Show Guys to mention it |
Hey, since it's tax-time...I wonder if we can write it off as a charitable donation for next year.
I'm in; I'll be more than happy to engrave a note onthe block before sending it out. They'll have an "WTF" moment at the White House Mailroom when hundreds if not thousands of cinder blocks begin to arrive by mail.
I'm in. If we could only get enough people in this so we could send one brick for every participant in the marches that just took place it could make a serious impact, let them know we are out there and we are pissed off. It would be great if we could wait until we could get some real support behind it.
i'm strangely comfortable with this idea.....i can finally use my employee discount and ship mine overnight
<- needs to go looking for a brick.
from the usps site: The Priority Mail Flat Rate Box is $8.10 for any U.S. destination. The inside dimensions for the two boxes available are 11" x 8.5" x 5.5" and 13.625" x 11.875" x 3.375". |
Anyone that has the time to wait on hold should call Limbaugh , Hannitty, Savage, Rick Roberts, Ingraham etc. and let them know about the Mail-A-Brick Build-A -Wall Protest |
Savage is a loon, he just might. Rush will laugh at you. Hannity you might actually get on aire with him I suspect he would not advocate sending packages to congress or the white house. |

May 5th = Cinco de Mayo. PERFECT! However, you should check with your shipper to ensure the brick would arrive on the proper date. |
