You need a VZ-52, VZ-58, Mosin-Nagant M91/30 and M44, and an SKS of some sort to round out your commie rifles, and a PA-63, CZ-82, and CZ-75 to round out your commie pistols.

Produce carbines and pistols for the civilian market and I'd out-compete the demand for HK94/MP5 pistols and carbines since those are almost exclusively crap unless HK produced them. Might even be able to get a military contract with some South American or European country. That does make a sound business case, at least at first glance. How much capital would it take to get sucha an operation started (licenses, macinery, materials, etc)? I would think Spectres in compatible calibers to whatever the police are carrying in their pistols would be very salable. Also, a 10mm Spectre would certainly be a fine weapon.

I dunno what it'd cost to get into business. I'd need a class III manufacturer's license, and I'd need machinery and materials to produce Spectre M4's as overhead, plus employees. Make SMG's, pistols, and carbines in 9mm, .40 S&W, .45ACP, and 10mm, and maybe make some AR-15's to get into that market and not wither away as merely a niche manufacturer, and I could make a name for myself. Produce some CZ-75 knockoffs in 9mm, .40 S&W, 7.62 Tokarev, .45ACP, 10mm, and .22lr, and I can get into the handgun market too. Maybe even some FAL clones for a cheaper price than DSA sells them. That way if another AWB comes along, I'm not entirely screwed when the majority of my business is verboten by our benevolent overlords.

It would take a LOT of money to get started (I could probably get a loan though), but assuming there is a market for them, I could be successful. If not, I'll be another fly-by-night manufacturer who produces some really neat toys for a couple years and then goes bankrupt, causing all the guns to skyrocket in price and collectors to squabble over magazines and spare parts.

Nope, the barrel bushing exsisted through type I and type II, it was the type III that integrated the barrel bushing, in the 1910 model year.

If yours hasn't had the parts mixed, you either have replacement grips or a very, very, very late type II.

What's the SN#?

I think a lot of the board doesn't realize how bad the situation was back in the 90's with all the jumping thru hoops BS that the companies had to do. Oh well, we might look back fondly on the swiss cheese Oly in a few years.
