I posited the question as to whether or not Modern Abortion and contraception methods were in fact intended as a Eugenics program in order to reduce the number of minorities and poor in this country. As evidence to support this position, I provided various links to Margaret Sanger's writings and in fact the early stated positions of the organization that is now Planned Parenthood. These writings suggest a specific social engineering program designed primarily to engage in a reverse Eugenics program by intentionally decreasing the number of births among minorities and the poor, while not targeting the majority or those from successful families.

All of these things are in fact true and are well documented in Sanger's own writings.

Now, given that the very idea of reducing the minority population by preventing or decreasing minority births by design of social elites, is wholly repugnant to the modern liberal mantra, they are going nuts over it as they cannot disprove it.

It has been roundly denounced as a conspiracy theory with much stammering after I point out, it can't be a conspiracy if the founders openly stated their specific intent and purpose in writing.

This is rich.

BTW:

I am staunchly pro choice, believe life begins when the child could survive independant of the mother and do not care at all what your personal beliefs are on the issue. Your opinion is no better than mine on the subject so keep it to yourself. The fun part here is watching liberals implode when they realize that their liberal agenda is founded upon racist and stealth genocide.

I know a woman who became pregnant in college. This is about mid 1980s. She is Jewish, her boyfriend was WASPish. Also a college student. She went to get an abortion and planned parenthood talked her out of it because!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is always a good adoptive home for a caucasian baby from college educated parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will not cross link it. The primary reason is, I don't want trolls from there coming here. The second is, it is a newspaper website forum with software so hard to follow that it's infuriating to someone not used to it. That and they delete at will with even the slightest CoC violation. No, I am pro choice because I am a father of teenage daughters. That and I believe life begins when a baby could survive independant of the mother. This is my personal belief. The whole Eugenics issue was very new to me.

No, this was very true. I was not the father of her child, but knew her in college after she put the baby up for adoption. I think she told me about this while trying to convince me that she had no intention of getting re pregnant to trap someone.

You've made some mighty tall accusations here about Planned Parenthood but I see no reference to verifiable source data to support your basic premise. Abortion is for the poor. If blacks have more abortions its probably because their culture encourages sex at a younger age.

Ironically, Stephen Levitt attributes abortion to the dramatic decline of crime in the 1990s. Crime was out of control. They poured money into the police and crime went down - so they assumed that worked. BUT - not so fast. Levitt makes a compelling case that Roe v Wade is what did it. Simply put, there were less babies of poor people to grow up to be thieves, murderers, and drug dealers.

From the numbers that I read, a higher raw number of abortions are done by white college age women. However, as a percentage of the ethnic population, a much higher percentage is done by black women. The link I used earlier showed that something like 50% fewer potential babies born over the period of time in question to black mothers.

Is this good public policy?
We know that Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood organization started with the specific intent of providing low cost birth control and abortion services in low income and minority communities with the specific intent of keeping the population of undesireables down.
Even though their intent was racist from its inception, could it now in the modern era, be good public policy to ensure that no cost of very low cost, birth control and abortion services are available to the poor and lower social classes??

Should we as Democrats be supportive of this population control and should we urge our politicians to fund it?

The guy who is the abortion drum beater is calling me a tinfoil conpiracy theorist. I just asked him if he actually read any of Sanger's writings?

Planned Parenthood is no more a front for a eugenics agenda than the Ford Motor Company is a front for the Nazis.

I tend to not relay too many personal things but I did know ( not in the biblical sense ) a girl in college that was convinced by PP not to abort when they found out the father was also white. She was told there are good homes for White babies and she should put it up for adoption. This was said by a PP center in NE Ohio in about 1985. Now, you infer what you like or not, but I know this woman and still do. This is specifically what she was told. Combine that with the recent unpleasentness in the news and your assertions sound less and less plausible
