Meh. I'm indifferent to Tiller's death. Plenty more doctors where he came from willing to do the same thing he was doing. You might as well kill a fly on a horse's ass and claim you're "striking a blow against flies all around the country." Big deal. In the final analysis it means nothing.
I will say though, that they are going to catch the guy that did it, unless he stole the car he used to get away. In broad daylight, in front of tons of witnesses, and they got the number off his license plate and everything? He'll probably be in custody by the end of the day. What an amateur. |

As someone who protested at his clinic nearly twenty years ago, talked with him face to face, and is fully convinced that he should be tried and executed for genocide, I have a mixed and conflicting reaction. The man dismembered live babies and sold their parts off for profit. At what point after the "law" has repeatedly thwarted justice do the people do what needs to be done themselves? Why in church, of all places? (although that church needs a wake-up call if ever there was a need for one) And if the shooter felt that what he was doing was morally right, why flee? Civil disobedience requires the activist to submit to the authorities in order to claim the moral high ground. But it really is past time for that beast to assume room temperature. |

I can't believe he was a church goer in all honesty, especially a Christian church. Why not? Some of the worlds greatest sinners were regular church goers. The BTK killer was an elder in his local church. It's great camo for a killer and I guess they have a lot to ask forgiveness for and want to get as close to the source as possible. BTK will be spending his eternity roasting in the Special Hell the one for hypocrits. |
