I just wanted to send you a short note from Baghdad, Iraq, also for Commander Black ( U.S. Navy ). We are a joint service team made up primarily of Army infantry and Marine infantry, but we also have mechanics, logistics, and other specialties making up the team. Primarily, we are a convoy security and PSD element, guarding Principals and packages alike from the many dangers posed to us all from Insurgents and other Terrorist organizations. We have an average of 190 convoys ( major travel convoys, leaving the Baghdad area ) between the various members of Majestic 12. These have all been accomplished with 5 enemy contacts, leaving 13 enemy dead, 1 wounded/ crippled for life, and no casualties to us, our Principals, and we haven’t lost a single package or vehicle. Attached are a couple of pictures of the team, just to put some faces to the note. Thank you for your time, Cpl. XXXXX X. XXXXXXXX Nice work MAJESTIC 12! Received 7/4/04 from the CDR who is now in the States. Steve Thank you for sending the four M-16 uppers. I distributed them as follows: 1. Cpl 1st Cav Div 2. Maj USMC 3. Capt USA Eng attached to 1st Cav 4. PSD Aegis Corp (West Point 82 grad) Two have all ready been used in combat by the above. We checked function and zero on all uppers before going to field. The Aimpoint, Leupold, Eotech, and Acog were all on at 100 yds with your factory zero. The short barrels and 16 inch barrels were extremely handy getting in and out of armored Humvees. The Leupold scoped 16 inch match barrel was used by the USMC Major with two hits. Again thanks for the gifts. The troops could not believe your generousity. The quality of your products speaks for irtself when they have the trust of these men and immediately go out in the field. CDR xxxx USNR

Not sure which river it is, I dont get too much info with the pics. When the project is over I'll have more details. I'm waiting now for some pictures of my uppers. I was told some Marines are putting them to use during escort duty through Fallujah.

Too bad that he can't just bring the MP5 back with him......to me it's sad that our soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen can't bring back an honestly earned war trophy any more

Damn is that one of the blasts from today, or rather being reported today... I saw a thread in GD about a blast or two in the green zone. |
So what happened here? Did we destroy the vehicle while some rag heads wereprancing around it with their AKs? |

Yup. A carbomb blew a track off disabling it. The crew got out and left with the rest of the patrol in another Bradley. There was an Arab news crew there who began filming a bunch of fucks dancing on the Bradley. Can't very well let them have all the equipment.... While Haji was reporting an Apache put a Hellfire Missile into the Bradly destroying it, killing those standing on it along with the reporter. Google it, the the video is out there. |
