We'll definitely let others chime in with their experience, but from our findings, a user on the average "daylight bright" setting should experience about 500 hours of battery life.
I agree with Vortex on this one. I have one on my 22lr Ruger pistol it works great but the battery life is not great compared to other options. I have forgotten the sight up more than once and it was on in the daylight bright sun setting which eats the battery. The sight does work really well and is fairly durable mine has been dropped twice onto a gravel/grass surface and kept zero no glass break or crack. I am not sure how it hit if the pistol hit first or the sight but it was about waist height nothing extreme. I have contemplated getting another one for my other Ruger 22 but then I think to myself I want to keep it iron sights and then I go back and forth not sure what I want to do. Maybe if a really good deal pops up I will snag another.
Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I just replied to your IM. Disregard that as I hadn’t read this yet.
I ended up with several Venoms, and am trying to decide what to do with all of them. I like your idea of putting one on my Ruger Mk3, and maybe a 10/22.
Just pulled in from a long drive on an extended weekend get away. I used the windshield time to consider what to do with some of my Venoms. Tomorrow night I’m going to mount one on my Ruger Mk3 and another on my 10/22. Not sure what I’m going to do with the rest of them.
