Ok Gents,
I was hoping to get the triggerguards out last week but we had a few large priority orders that came in just as we were moving to our new location. We have been playing catch up ever since. Our new shipping system went online for the first time today which should free up time to post updates on everything. We are out of stock and backordered on the trigger guards but the ones for the preorder buyers are sitting safely in a box ready to be shipped out. While we really want to get the inital run of the grips started, our priority over the next week is ranger plates to fill orders for those who need them most. If you are on the preorder list you will get the grips before anyone else. It looks like we will only have enough machine time to run out the original pre order quantities before we need to switch over to another mold, so general release will probably be a month after the pre orders get sent out. On the color of the two grips. You will get two of the same color you ordered. It is hard to run and track the colors as is, so keeping things simple will help get the orders out quickly. Please remember that anyone who wishes to bow out of the pre buy can do so at anytime. I will check back and answer any questions as they arise this weekend. |

I understand you've been busy, but I have sent 2 emails asking to change my shipping address and I have not received a response acknowledging the change of address. I have moved since the pre-order and I am trying to avoid a situation where I don't receive the grips. Please tell me the best way to make sure my items are shipped to my correct address. Thanks |

Hi Rich,
Based on the pics of the unit to date and the fact that we are GETTING MORE THAN WE PAID FOR(!!) please take all of the time you need to get things right. Maybe I'm alone in this but when somebody offers me something over and above what I paid for I'm apt to be a little more patient in the long run. I'm also guessing that the majority of the folks that pre-ordered aren't holding up a build waiting for the grip (re: already have something else in place but waiting for the MIAD). My apologies to those that fall outside of this assumption. Rich, take the time to make them reflect your company quality standards so that nobody bitches about "getting a POS" or whatever drivel the "glass is half empty" folks can come up with. Based on all of the Magpul products and services I have received I have high confidence that all will we happy with the end result. My $0.02. M590man |

I am. Like I already said though, I 'm all for our troops being taken care of first. Waiting a little longer is fine but I like to be kept up to speed. I think that is fair. |

 Rich Priorities are where they should be - I don't mind waiting longer so troops can get what they need. The grip is a bonus - and no one will die without one - the rangerplates and floorplates might make that difference. Cheers Kevin |

Hey- I purchased my townhouse in MARCH with an expected finish date of late JULY or early AUGUST. It was pushed back several times. I just moved in 3 weeks ago. If I can wait for a HOME then I can wait for a GRIP (althought it's not just a grip).

I'm a firefighter doing a little contract work over here supporting a military base. I'll be home for three weeks for vacation over the christmas/new year holidays. I've been purchasing a bunch of stuff to put together while I'm home. The wife will make out well in toys for this christmas. A Glock and a new AR15 in yellow furniture for her. I'm doing two AR15's for me also, one in coyote and one SBR. I'll be here (except vacations) until Dec 2005.
My dad was one of the primary instructors in Graffenvier (sp) for both the Abrams and Bradleys when they first came out. We spent 8 years continious there. I learned both vehicles before I learned to drive a car. Assembling and timing a M2 .50 at the age of 12 framed my love of guns for life. At that age the barrel was HEAVY! |

If you are a team member, cancel the subscription to the thread and you won't get updates. It WILL still say in your "my active topics" list.
If you read through all 26 pages looking for info every time you come here, that's noone's problem but yours. Look at it this way- we are just sharing our feelings and opinions just like people sitting in an AA meeting. We have thoughts of nothing but the MIAD all day long- same thing! I used to have the 'there are 10 types..." quote at the bottom of my sig- i changed it during one of the tacpoint arguments to point out how stupid i was. speaking of stupid, what do these 'tards mean when they say w00t?? It's not in the AR15.com abbreviations thread, so i'm assuming it came from somewhere else- possibly a 'gay club' on the internet somewhere. |

It means 'hooray!' a=4 e=3 i-1 0=0 (zero) u= 3w (y3w) ?? I think y was 7, but it has been a while. p0wned is also part of it, but I have no idea where the 'p' came from. Not sure on h4xx0r either.
