[1GR]Sigh[/1GH] They always forget the Mattell.   On a more serious note, I've just taken a roll of 35mm of 2 Tromix rifles. I'll get them developed and send you some pics. It's for use in the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle, there are no front sights (tracers used to aim) and only a wire folding folding stock, and it's full auto only. It's so troops can spray fire from the inside of an IFV when in a hostile zone. Pretty much useless for anything but in vehicle use, but still interesting nevertheless. Oh, and did realize that your last post was post #223? How appropriate! |

 M231 5.56mm Firing Port Weapon The infantry rifle squad uses the M231 FPW to engage enemy personnel, crew-served weapons, and ATGM teams, and to suppress suspected close-in enemy positions. The FPW has a maximum effective range of 300 meters (tracer burnout). When not using the FPWs, the crew stores them in their assigned storage racks located inside the vehicle. |

Don't feel bad. Like a lot of urban legends it was believable and I believed it also until I researched it and found it to be a rumor that was started during the Viet Nam conflict. |

One Colt CAR-A3 HBAR ELite added to the lineup! Thanks! You know Colt rifles are great, but sometimes I think they subscribe to the "Harley-Davidson" school of product naming. About a thousand different models and model names with very slight actual variations... You know, like FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide, FXDXI Super Glide Sport, FXD Super Glide.... ...Colt Match Target Match HBAR, Colt Match Target Competition HBAR, Colt AR15A2 HBAR Sporter... So many models, so little time! |

Thanks QuietShootr. The two Colt 9mm ones I had were the 9mm SMG and one that was very similar to yours but was marked AR15 "9mm NATO" instead of just "9mm". That makes it a unique variation, and that's what I am looking for. |

That is a very clear pic, got it, will add it to the lineup. I didn't notice the absence of the pony either, thanks for pointing that out. I never had any idea there were so many variations in colt receivers. |
