Thanks man! My stepfather gave this to me, he bought this soon after he came home from Vietnam from a friend of his that worked at Colt. This SP1 is all original, I have the manual, cleaning kit, sling and the two original 20 Rd. mags that it came with. It's not in perfect condition but I like! |

No those were the "cartoon" format preventive maintenance (PM) manuals given to the troops in those years. You can still find them, pretty useful. The idea was that troops wouldn't find them as boring and would actually read them. I don't know if the idea worked, but they don't print them anymore. There used to be whole series, some for the M16, some for vehicle maintenance, etc. |
