So first off a big THANKS to Giffmann and Amendment Arms. He hooked me up with most of what you see here and built the upper. It runs like a raped ape! Additionally, he is a great guy to work with and VERY customer service oriented.

So 1st, the Specs:

LMT receiver
LMT Enhanced Bolt (Worked for me so far...)
PRI Gas Buster
Noveske Afghan barrel
Larue Gas Block
Vortex
LMT front sight
Troy rear BUIS
Larue 13.2
TD Panels
Surefire M951
Aimpoint M2 in Larue Cantliever
Leupold MR/T in Larue SPR mount.

Lower (for now):

DPMS Receiver
RRA parts
TD Battlegrip
Magpul Trigger guard
VLTOR Stock

I have only shot it thus far with the Aimpoint. Could get dime sized groups at 50 with it shooting Q3131. The Aimpoint is the limiting factor but now that I have the MR/T I will be wringing it out. I have an LMT lower that I plan on putting a match trigger in. I also am waiting on a TD Bipod.

As far as the MR/T I think a Nightforce 1-4 or similar would be perfect for this application so I'm waiting. The MR/T will have to do.

I think this will become my do it all go to gun for everything from shooting coyotes to home defense.

So anyways

That's just plain, old-fashioned, honest-to-god, kick-ass.

That looks to be a rig that'll perform as well as it looks.

Is that the civilian version of the optic on the SPRs? Care to post any info on it? I was looking at the leupold CQ/T (I think), the one that adjust from 1-3x and has rails on three sides.

It's the Leupold MR/T 3-9 non - illuminated. Great for a medium distance optic. Small and lightweight. I guess its the civilian version of the SPR optic.

I'd avoid the CQ/T but that's me.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I must say I wholeheartdly share your taste in hardware! (I also have a SS10x in a SPR mount for this rifle)

It'll probably have a LaRue 7" rail before all is said and done.

Very Nice.
Is the Afghan barrel 14.5" or 16"

Thanks,
Sean

Afgan is 14.5.

I would be leary of running a pressure pad like that, especially so close to the chamber. I have heard of melting issues.

Purdy.

My 16 inch RECON barrel from Noveske shoots tiny, tiny groups as well with XM-193 using an ARMS 40L.  Be interesting to see what they'll dowith match loads and a good scope.  . . .

Ya, I just haven't decided where to run it yet. It sits ok there for now. I got a killer deal on the light so no huge loss regardless if i have to buy a new tape switch or other type of switch.
