DeGroat Flash Enhancer?  Any pics of it not encased in fire?  I'm curious to see what it looks like.

This reminds me of ARFCOM team member MAP at Blackwater.

Anybody who took that class know's what I'm talking about.

And I didn't think you could make an m16 any more politically incorrect!

Don't let the news get hold of that!  They'll  think it's a machine gun flame thrower or some madness.

BTW - Where can one purchase this flash enhancer?

Wow.

Where can you buy a DeGroat Flash Enhancer?

A big +1! That's awesome! I never get a flash off of my SP1 even with the 'hider off. Today I did notice alot of sparks though...but yeah I'd love to have one of these flash enhancers if they're not an insane amount of money.

This also illustrates very well why the Noveske Krink brake is such a good idea.

It probably was night time, meaning those trees in the background were lit by the muzzle flash....

I'd bet those "balls-o-fire" come from Lake City XM193!

Even with an A2 cage, the 16" and shorter barrels give out lots of flame...

These Flash Enhancers are manufactured by James DeGroat.  He doesn't have any available at this time.  They are quite expensive (@ $250.00) and I am not sure when he will have more.  Here is a direct link to his website.  Armament Sales  They may be best known at this point for the Miniguns they manufacture.  Here is a shot of a little shoot they hosted out in the Desert during the SAR Show in Phoenix last weekend.

That looks VERY expensive to shoot.

He must have broken 3 extractors, 2 bolts, and warped 4 barrels by shooting all that Wolf ammo!

The Bushy AK break works well as a flash enhancer, this is on a 14.5 inch barrel.

Heres a 11.5 inch M16(RDIAS) with some unknown muzzle brake, Unfortunately its not mine

Just plain old taking your flash hider off seems to work well too.... http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=259572
