I also purchased an upper half without BCG & CH from a class 3 machine gun dealer about the same time but I'm not sure if it was all original.

I have one with a serial number just a few from this one. Looks like an A2 forging to me.

I will look at mine over the weekend to compare. I had forgotten what a nice looking gun that was for that Colt era.

Got them in there, and wow, this is the first one of these data bases were about half the entries were someone else's work, good show.

Got a couple of questions, on these two there is no pinned in block, and no "web"?:

LBD0026xx

LBD0045xx

Do you have access to any of these?  If we could get some barrel dates, then I can break the years out by serial numbers like on some of the other data bases.

That is pretty slick, there is another data base with some Carbines like that, think it was the 6520's?  Am starting to get them all mixed up in my head.

Yes, if you have the time please do check barrel dates, then I can break out the years 1995-2001.

You might also check the flash hider, these should be all timed with silver peel washers, rather then the later blued crush washer?

I did not know any 6721s were out there without a sear block or web. Are the FGP large or mil spec?

They have large trigger/hammer pins.  Seems there was a "transitional period" between the two features.  Would guess Colt ran of blocks at some point, and then decided later to machine the lower different.

Me neither... Heck, I didn't even know that they are out there with the pinned steel sear block until Ekie posted pics of one...
