Finally pretty much finished up the SPR clone I've been working on off and on for the last year.

Armalite M15A4 SPR
Samson MFR handguard
LaRue SPR mount
Leupold 4.5-14x40 Vari-X III Tactical
CMC drop in trigger
Harris Bipod/ LaRue adapter
VLTOR stock

I'll probably add the OPS brake if I can get one of their supressors ordered.

Range trip today.

Took a few rounds to get the scope zero set.

Ammo: Radway Green 63gr SS109 surplus
Range: 100 yards
Weather: clear and cool (high 30's low 40's)
Wind: calm

Once the zero was set the rifle hit where ever the crosshairs sat. Range only has 100 yards, unfortunately, but I'm going to have to make a trip soon to the nearest range with 500 yards to shoot (for this and a couple of other guns).

Looks sweet; You should perhaps swap the FH for something fancier and maybe get an ergonomical pistol grip; but that's just me. Enjoy.

What makes that a SPR clone?

That looks like a standard rifle length AR15.

I could cut 2" off the barrel and be more "spr-ish", but why mess with that accuracy?

And the base gun came from the factory marked "SPR" FWIW.

Well, then it's a SAM-R clone if anything.

I'm building a SPR and that means:

Compass Lake 18" barrel, Crane gas block, KAC FF rail, OPS INC 2 port brake and collar....

The only spare irons I have around are a YHM set and the rear sight doesn't fit under the scop objective. I have a couple of other brannds on different rifles and will have to pull them off and check to see if any fit.

Outstanding rifle,  I'd add the KAC 600m and Troy flip front iron sights and call it done!
