Like i do with all of my guns, i like to keep some spare parts on hand, just in case. I'm new to AR's and am wondering if there are any good(quality) spare part kits. In the alternative, what specific parts should i stock up on. (besides the obvious stockpile of mags and ammo )

Bushmaster has field kits. spring kits, pins ect.  A spare bolt in the sto-away grip never hurts either!

I keep a spare bolt (with gas rings of course), firing pin and firing pin retaining pin inside my Tango Down Battlegrip.  This should cover most of the problems that occur in the field.

At home I keep lots of extra parts.  One of the kits from C Products, or a number of other companies would cover most problems.  Regardless you'll need gas rings, firing pin retianing pins, extractor springs and inserts.

Stag has a lot of great small parts that are fairly inexpensive but quality parts.

This also sell a field repair kit.

Bolt parts are the #1 priority on the AR.

if your talking about something to store on your AR then I would say a complete bolt and firing pin.

I tend to think that with the Dems in power, and soon, most likely, to get more power (White House), as many stripped lowers as you could get would be a good spare parts stash.

Other than that:
Bolt parts and mags.

An extra lower parts kit, a complete bolt and a fireing pin should cover just about everything.

I have one more question. Are  there any parts/kits that are better/worse;or are they all about the same?
