I've got a question about the EOTech. Why has the one screw-reach-opening such a pointed shape and not a round one like the usual EO-Housing?

Actually i'm meaning this:
http://mp-graphics.at/pics/stick-eo.jpg
Why is the red edged hole not as round as the orange one?
I wonder if that has any technical reason.

Newbie here!!

I just finished my first AR build.  Took quite a while but she sure was worth the wait!  90% DPMS.  Love their guns!

Need to spend some time outdoors with the EOTech though!

I modified the 10/22 along with doing all the polishing, debured everything, radiused the bolt, trigger job, etc.  Nice shooter.  Cheap ammo too....

What do you all think?

Thanks, Mike

Looks good.How

Thanks for the compliment!

I love it.  The ability to change the front strap and back strap to suit my hands is great!  Also a great compromise between the MIAD(too hard and uncomfortable) and the Houge, which is too tacky and catches on my clothes.

I can't stand the finger locator on MIAD and stock grips so this is perfect.  Not too expensive, either which is nice!

Mike

Rusted Ace,

I love fixed stock, especially the A1.  But if you haven't btdt, you'd probably get flamed for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  "HOW CAN YOU USE THAT WITH YOUR BODY ARMOUR!!!!"

BTW, sweet rig.

The gun runs better on F/A with the fixed stock IMO. My registered SBR is still in the works. After its done the upper will have a collapsable.

And since this is a picture thread, here is an old 614 pic for you Blanco

A newb to the AR world. Figured I would get one before I retire from the AF and have to start working for a living. I know it's nothing spectacular, but I have always wanted one (as close to the ones we use in the AF) anyways.

Just finished this rifle a couple weeks ago. It's been a long time in the making. I've learned the true meaning of patience in the process.

I'd like to add glass at some point but I think I'll practice with the irons for awhile first and give my checking account a break.

I got the upper from Tom Mooney (Mooney's Class 3). Tom has been outstanding to deal with and is a helluva guy. He has really gone above and beyond the call of duty with me and I thank him. If you are in the market for anything AR, check him out.

-RRA lower
-RRA LPK
-CAA stock
-G27 grip
-Stage upper
-Samson rail
-Phantom flash hider
-LMT fixed buis
-cheap VFG I picked up at a gunshow

It's finally done! Woo Hoo!!
