What’s the story with these - some of the accessory mounting seems a little…odd.

Are you talking about the placement? Cause it's all pretty standard stuff.

Tape switches maybe? They're in a not-common place.

Yes. You guys are right.  Was looking at the Pic on my phone.  The marring on the wrench flat looked like ports.  Which would make no sense since the ports would have been venting sideways.

Mainly some of the lights - I guess I’m used to seeing them mounted much further forward.

While most will follow a certain setup, they obviously don't implement a 'standard'. Whatever works for the user.

Regiment is wrong for that. Give the poor dude a Block II with a M203.

I remember when we got our brandy new out of the box M320s to replace our M203s before our 2011 deployment. Carrying it standalone was gay and mounting it to your M4 was really gay.

Has anyone heard any military feedback of the Tango6T SFP? I am wondering if it has the durability of the ATACR.

I’ve seen people saying they’re seeing a bunch of failures in them, and that they would only use the vortex razor or ATACR and claiming that their tenure on teams rarely ever saw failures of the razor.

Then you have people in this thread saying the razors failed at huge rates and everything else was great.  

I think at the end of the day it’s really hard to know what to do.  Find one you like, try it, and hope for the best I guess.

ATACR is king of the hill for a reason.
