This weekend I got to try out some black hills 77 grain moly from Georgia precision At 100 yards I got a .7" 5 shot group(right of bulseye) with a 20" stock bushy with a 1/9 twist, it did have a 9x scope, I also got a .8" 3 shot group(bulls eye)
the other random shots are 55 grain xm193 which werent shot for accuracy just disregard them
I was also able to shoot 20oz soda bottles at 250(longst range)

No, no. that can't be possible. Everybody knows that shooting 77 gr. bullets out of a 1/9 barrel will cause the bullet to careen wildly out of control and kill all innocent bystanders.

Yeesh...

What were your 5 shot groups?  3 shot groups aren't enough to verify.

Could the longer barrel have something to do with it ?  I know when i tested 75gr BH , which  also not rated for 1/9  in my 14.5  barrel with 1/9  gun it sucked, but worked fine in my 18" 1/9 gun.

the group to the right of the bullseys(.7") is the 5 shot group

I also shot 4 other 5 shot groups(no pics) which were all under 1.2" at 100 yards

Well original poster's shot groups were at 250 instead of 100, so I think his barrel stabilizes it fine.

I too have 20" 1/9 Gov't from Bushmaster and could group 5~6" at 200 meters with ACOG shooting BH 77gr SMKs.
