Don't assume everyone who posts here is a chairborne ranger.  I know in my case I had a "war bag" in my desk drawer with a bunch of preloaded magazines, misc items and a trauma pack.  It was there ready to grab and go for a number of years, until I retired last year.  I would have loved to have known about this size pelican case, it would have been perfect.

It is rude to laugh at people.

I keep up with this stuff now even after retiring as I have continued after retirement to pass on my experience and training to others.  Just last month I provided some training for a local military group.  That case would be better than a MRE box in the back of a Hummer filled with loaded magazines.

So has this been positively identified as a model 1200?

Given your tag line, having a grab bag / BOB wouldn't matter to you anyhow.

I measured some mags and compared them to the internal case dimensions and the 1200 has to be the one.

For rest of the bunch, I will grab a ruler and do some scientifc measuring to find out which one this is.

"20 round goodness'

This is what I head to the range with. I use a waterproof case,it looks like a Starlight made case with o-ring seal and pressure equalizing valve. I picked it up from an Arfcom member quite a while back. It holds 24 20 rnders and it usually covers a day at the range.

Not sure, my ruler says the interior is 9.5 X 7.5 inches wide........

Close to the 1200 but who knows. Maybe they no longer make them? No markings on box, other than the pelican stamp....

If you do a google search for "Pelican Mini S", which is depicted on the sticker in your original post, it seems like the 1200 model number shows up for the "Mini S" case

Alrighty then. It appears the 1200 is the case....

The sides are tapered a little, as the mags will only fit "face" down.

OK guys. I did a little research on pricing and availability for these cases which I'll share with everybody. I spoke with Tom at Thermoworks in Utah, a Pelican dealer. He can get the 1200 cases in black, yellow, orange, grey, desert tan and OD green. Maybe there are a few other colors as well, but I thought the desert tan and OD green might be nice.

Price with the foam is $33.57, and you can get them without the foam for $29.10. He can ship within a week of getting your order. I told him I'd post his info, so if you call Tom to order, please tell him Chuck referred you. His website is http://www.thermoworks.com. Telephone: 1-800-393-6434.

AZ-K9 sweeeet!!!   I have a similar case but not a Pelican.  It the same as Meademac case but in OD green color.  My ex-Navy Seal neighbor decided to donate to me.  I tried a couple of times to get more from him but with no success.  Nice ammo and all around case if you ask me.

Great idea AZ-K9...

Here is one for $28.00 with foam, not sure on the shipping though. When I was searching for a Pelican 1700 a while back, this place had the best prices.

Now I am thinking of getting a smaller Pelican to store my ACOG in instead of the mini-camcorder case it currently resides in ....damn ARFCOM.There is always something better out there, and sure as hell,ARFCOM points it out.
