How far do you shoot? The full size doesnt have an advantage until 400+ meters.

The compact acog 3x is a GREAT scope. Its a little short on FOV and eye relief, but the TA31 is short on eye relief too. I had a TA50R4, and it was great.

If it looks like stupid newbie question be advised it is one! Does the BAC on A.C.O.G. relly work the way Trijicon shows it on the promotion video? I mean is it really possible to use it with both eyes open at short distances? What were the reasons why you chose the particular magnification? Like I said, it is probably a stupid question, I warned you.

We all started somewhere.  We didn't all pop out of the womb as a full functional uber tactical mall ninja.

And how about the BAC in real life? Which magnification for what purpose? Thank you.

The BAC really does work like the viedo shows, these scope allow 2 eyes open shooting.  I checked out both the TA31 and TA31F, both BAC are super, and the TA31F is the way to go if you have the money.  I ended up going with the TA01NSN, as I was able to get it in a trade and did not have funds for the TA31F.  I find I can even shoot the TA01NSN very fast with 2 eyes open, not BAC, but still an awsome sight.

bac is great!

for some it takes getting use to and others sometimes never get use to it.

bac is basically for minute of man shooting imo.

When I went on deployment we didn't have any dedicated DM rigs so I was initially issued a compact acog.  It wasn't bad but I was extremely dissapointed when I learned that it was only 1.5x.  It just wasn't enough optic.  Needless to say I got an improved rig made by Paul at B. Co. with the addition of parts from Wes.
