On the left side of my TA01NSN, at the base of the scope is the text " ACOG4X32JN8:12"  JN8:12, by my guess, is a reference to John 8:12 a very popular Bible verse.

"When Jesus spoke to the people again he said, " I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." "

"The Any Light Aiming Specialists" Is the slogan on Trijicon's brochure.  It may or may not be derived from that verse as well.

Anyone else notice this before?  Or have different verses on theirs?  I thought this was pretty cool.  And I'd never heard of Trijicon doing this.

Quoted:
Trijicon TA11F

ACOG3.5X35MT5:16
"In the same way, let your light so shine before other, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."

Reflex II

REFLEX1X242COR4:6
"For it is the God who said, 'Let your light shine out of darkness' who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in Jesus Christ."

We need some poeple with all the other models of Trijicon products like the TA55's and Compact ACOGS to chime in on this thread!

Quoted:
very cool, my accupoint has rev21:23

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.

ETA: It seems that LIGHT is a common theme.....Trijicon, The Any Light Aiming Specialists.....

Here's a picture...This is an example for 2 Corinthians 4:6

That's Awesome! Now contact Trijicon about it.

Perhaps they did this to see whoever spotted it first gets a ACOG for free

Found this on the 'net

Not  a Christian, but is "R4:6" Romans 4:6?

I'm almost positive that is for 2 Corinthians 4:6, good find though. That is exactly what I'm talking about.

Ah. Thanks!

*hits head against wall*

Once again, I apologize for my lack of knowledge regarding the Bible.

EDIT- 2 Corinthians 4:6

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

I'm starting to think this is not a coincidence. Hats off to Trijicon for this smart move

I am not much of a churchgoer, but this is pretty cool!  I give Trijicon credit for a clever and discrete way of expressing themselves

Edited to add: my TA11E also has ACOG3.5X35MT5:16
"In the same way, let your light so shine before other, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."
And both TA31Fs have ACOG4X32JN8:12
"When Jesus spoke to the people again he said, " I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Well hey...I'd been thinking of a compact ACOG for quite sometime.  Since I majored in Theology, I guess this is the optic for me.

I guess that answers the question, "What sight would Jesus use to blow away his enemies at 400 meters?"

Am I the only one that sees the irony?

Well, so far you're the only one to assign irony to it.  There are Christians in the military and all aspects of the defense industry.

Well that is somthing a clone wouldn't have. Maybe the clones have a fortune inside, like a cookie?  "just because you aim, doesn't mean you hit"-confusious................This makes me want an ACOG even more, can you imagine what all the dead extremist would think, if they knew what was on the scope that helped pop'em. I love it.

Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
