Thinking of scooping a mid length RRA upper with the intention of putting a TA11 on.

My guess is a faint but present 'blur'....

I don't own an ACOG, but I do run a 1.5-4.5x variable. on 4.5 you can't see it at all. at 1.5 you can see the FSB as a blur if you look for it. when you're aiming you don't see it.

I just got out my AR and checked, at 3.5 you can't see anything. YMMV (?)

I know I'm probably splitting hairs with this question, but I always get a little anxious before I drop $900+ on a scope and mount

It's a LOT cheaper to get a standard FSB than a folding one.  Especially since I know the optic I want.

I have the PRI folding FSB and dont notice it either way with my TA-31F. I can't speak to the TA-11.
