I had to do a Quick order search for 214071 and then when the page came up saying I needed the whole letter and number combo there were 5 boxes there where you reenter 214071 and then it will come up,hell of a way to set up an ordering system if you ask me!

Yeah, It's kind of weird. You have to search and then it lists those 4 or 5 boxes. Just hit search again and it will take you to the right link |

Thanks for the info! I bought a bunch and it came to about $83.25 shipped!
At the local shows they have been wanting $100/1000 plus tax. And this price even includes the ammo cans! They go for $-5 bucks each. I missed this deal the last time around. Thanks again doneking, for posting the good deal. |

If it's the way they sell it in the stores, the ammocan is a plastic ammo box of about the same internal dimensions as a .50 can.

Now both of our links aren't working. What is the deal? Just a note.......I found out about this by signing up for thier e-mail notification thing a while back. You will get notices occasionally about special sales that they don't have in the catalogs or the website. You get a lot of notices that you don't have any interest in, but you can limit what kinds of notices they send you when you sign up. Crappy thing about the whole deal is if you don't know about it, and you order through the website by just looking up Wolf 7.62x39 - you'll pay out the nose. You really get hung out to dry.

I was wondering about the type of boxes they send them in. Like WinstonSmith mentioned - the website in some pictures show those dry boxes that are plastic, but in the item notes it mentions this about the boxes. *These ammunition boxes are used military surplus. They are not in as-new condition, but are servicable. They may have minor cosmetic flaws, such as exterior rust, paint spots, or peeling paint.* I'm hoping that they are normal military style boxes, but at this price, I'm just happy to get a decent deal on the ammo. The boxes are just a bonus.

The Boxes ARE standard Metal military issue. Very nice for storage. Beats plastic in my opinion.

im about to buy an romanian AK47, the WASR. are there certain AK47 models that cant shoot hollow points? im pretty much a noob when it come to this rifle. thanks

There is no hard and fast rule, but some people have had problems with some rifles and HP's. Seems to be more prevalent in Romanians. Mine will eat anything. |

you guys are nothing but a bad influence!! i was just curious about AK's and stumble across from the AR15 side of this forum yesterday. and lo and behold, i bought a WASR today of the wall from my FFL dude, and just ordered 2000 rounds of this pure fine ammo!!! God help me! im hooked!!!

I received mine today shitty package from Cabelas. But ever thing is ok some boxes were seperating from the shitty package from Cabelas. The cans are in great shape clean inside. For the price I am satisfied.
Yes new production. The ammo is seperate out of the cans.

 got some employes to take it to my truck. They all know me and they just laughed. The ammo cans they sent me looked like SHIT! Banged up, some rust, and painted all over in bright YELLOW paint. Oh well I got a great price on the ammo.Slug-O |

Slug-OOOoooo my friend. Here's a little trick for those ammo cans. Spray em down inside with plenty of WD-40. Let it sit for 15 or 30 minutes (or as long as ya want) them wipe em out real good. Those "$hity cans will look MUCH better and ya know what, they ain't quite so bad after that. Try it - trust me, Mr. Bill.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. Just ordered my 2k rounds. I bought 500 from SG a couple of weeks ago just to try out the hollow points. Woohoo, my Vector seems to like the hollow points, so UPS man, bring me 2000 more...for now

My order showed up last Thursday. Both ammo cans were in OK condition with some rust spots and no dents. Cleaned the cans up and coated them in Strike-Hold and now good to go for storage.
The Wolf HP ammo ran fine in my Arsenal SA-M7S with both Bulgie waffle mags and East German steelies. Nice deal, thanks for the heads up on this one!!  |

I just received another 1000 rds. today!
Both ammo cans were in great condition. Better than the first order. They were kinda greasy and dusty inside and seemed like they were vacuum pakced. I could barely open them w/the suction they had on them. DK |

For every 1000 rounds you order, you get two .50 ammo cans.
They still come in the 20 round boxes (actually comes in the 500 plastic pak, 25 boxes to a pak, 20 rounds to a box.) |
