DSA better get going on their 5.56 FAL, or they are going to lose some customers!
To think I use to have one of those back in the 80's! I paid $525 for it! I still want one!
Looks longer than 18 inches, more like 21.
How many US parts will it take? I'm guessing about 7? Is ORF going to make those? I guess we have 1 part for the receiver, 1 for a US FAL pg, 2 or 3 for the M16 magazine, etc. Are any of the other parts either the same as M16 or FAL ones? Ken |

very nice!
The bolt hold open/release lever looks strangly large? Please keep us informed on kits and when we can start sending money to you. |
XM,
Thats a old DPMS tactical BHO release. We will be changing that to another style, thats just what I had on hand to use today. Your more than welcome to send me money anytime you like! hahaha, you probably meant for a gun though, didn't you? Guys, I spoke with my vendor about the parts kits, looking to be about end of Nov. You guys patient enough to wait a couple months? I might start presales of guns if so. Todd@ORF |
Does this interfere with your AR-50 plans? |
Im willing to put down money early...really wondering on price!
What I need to do is find a rich uncle... Or there's always that reality show where you compete to be Jeri Ryan's "Kept Man". 6 figure allowance.. hmm... |
Can't you hook us up with a general rough estimate on the price? I heard $2k just for the kit, in which case I can quit drooling over it since I'll never be buying one...
Ok guys, do me a favor.... write your congressmen and tell them that PFC's in the Army don't get paid enough and deserve a 300% pay increase.
I have a feeling I'll need it in order to afford this thing |
Did you say parts kits?? I want a new 18 inch upper. Put me on the list for one of those!
Guys,
Yes we will be selling parts kits, receivers, and complete guns. Heres rough on them now. Semi only gun $2550 Sear ready gun $2500 Parts kit $2000 (exc to new condition, no magazine, they do take std AR15/M16 mags) Receivers $300 You might think thats pricey but its alot better than FNC prices! The sear ready guns, all you will really need to do is install the sear and rock and roll! I am working on getting the sear springs made now. Parts kit price high? Find them, find them like new, they don't really exist in qty anywhere! We found a small batch coming from X overseas. They are police rifles that were barely ever taken out or used! Will we have support parts, spare uppers, firing pins, etc etc, yes we will. Sarco was the last ones I saw that had some uppers avail a couple years ago and they were $1400 (no bolt carrier, just complete upper) Todd@ORF |
Something else I need!
But I only buy it if it says one of two things on the lower receiver; 1.The gun that Al Pacino used in Heat. 2.Is this the gun that Al Pacino used in Heat? |
That price is almost the same as the pre ban price's! Why have they shot up so much over the last couple of year's?
There are more registered full auto sears available than there are semi rifles to install them in. A big lot of sears recently became available, increasing the demand for the pool of semis. Thus a lot of people are holding $3000 sears needing a rifle to go in.
The availability of transferable auto sears has made the FNC go ape shit. I can't remember where they came from, but I think there is something like 3000 transferable sears ready to hit the market. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
the sears are from the estate of Tom Seslar the other half of S&H Arms. The sears and many transferable guns were sold at auction earlier this year after finally being released out of ATF purgatory after Seslar was arrested on federal drug trafficing charges.
