Does anyone know anything about this ammo. I'm thinking about picking up 500rds and it looks cheaper than the other FMJ and I dont like the SP or HP. Does the bi-metal do anything bad to the gun?

This bi-metal ammo is steel jacketed with a copper wash so it is essentially a steel FMJ. If you want to be kind to your AK Wolf does make a FMJ cartridge with an all copper jacket. This costs about $20 per 1,000 more if you can find it. I was told by the folks at Wolf that the copper jacket ammo is made primarily for those states where steel jacketed ammo is illegal.
