I got to the range earlier. It shoots very comfortably. I have to admit I prefer a regular stock though.

Congrats on the great project!
I've had much the same thought about the Butler Creek folder. Except I never find any cheap enough. Around here used and abused goes for almost full retail.

Well I removed the duct and foam. I found some soft rubbery clear tubing I am going to try. It looks much better.

Cool. If it does not get in the way of the fold, closed-cell foam for water pipe insulation is a really durable cushion.

There are "dip" styrene products. Friend did one on a Ruskie style retractable stock. Looked great.

cool how about a picture of the whole rifle? I kinda like the Butler Creek stocks not real pretty but they work good. I have one on a 10-22. |

Note that the angle of the folded stock means it doesn't interfere with thecharging handle. Looks nice, good work!

I actually cut the block specifically to do that. It all lines up REALLY well.
