On a yugo m70a the bolt closes smooth on a GO gauge and doesn’t close on the NO-GO but with a live round it will NOT close. Using wolf ammo. Any suggestions to what I should be checking for here?

Will not close on a live round even with full force from recoil spring?
If it closes on a GO and will chamber a round on release of the BCG it's fine. If it will not close on a live round it's possible the chamber is in spec but the barrel throat is too short and the bullet is seating on the lands too soon. |
