Browning BPT Performance 45acp problems?

If so, did it fire on the 2nd or 3rd try? What type of FTF is happening? A while back I was having "hard primer" problems with Independent aluminum cased ammo (40SW FMJ). It turned out that I had a weak striker spring and the problem went away once I replaced it.

Not sure of the ammo OP referenced, but my avatar picture was taken after I dumped a box of Winchester white box 9mm.

Somehow a steel casing found it's way in.
