No way to verify anything, but it was lost with two rounds fired, in Eastern Kentucky.  I suspect however you shake it there's a story there.  Maybe (probably) one fired, the hammers down on an empty chamber.

I have an old cannon ball I found as a kid by an old fort in Arizona and now an 1848 Colt Dragoon to go with it.  Time for an awesome shadow box

There are guys on YouTube that can restore that pistol to be just like brand new! Maybe a little minor pitting will still show, but probably won't be able to see it.

You may need to send it to either India or Eastern Europe though.
