What are some of the things you would like to see on generation four GLOCKS?
This is what I would like to see: -Create a long barrel GLOCK 21 .45ACP just like the 34/35 -Add more chamber support -Offer an optional external safety (I know I'll get flamed for this) -Offer automatic capabilities for all GLOCK models (just like the GLOCK 18 9mm) -Offer interchangeable grips -Offer GLOCK models without finger grooves -Offer silver colored GLOCK models (I like silver  )-Offer a .22LR GLOCK What would you do to fourth generation GLOCKs? |

- stiffer (non-spongy) recoil
- better grip angle I'm a 1911 guy who wants to like Glocks. They're inexpensive. They're durable. They just don't fit me and that recoil felt horrible. Give me the recoil impulse. It's only 9mm, I can handle it.

*Better grip angle.
*Better ergonomics (especially with the 20 and 21). *Better trigger (less spongy). *A real external safety (obviously not on the trigger). *Slimmer profile. *A steel frame. |

in all 4th gen glocks:
--no finger grooves --reduced grip circumfrence on the big bores --slighly less angled grip angle --more contoured trigger (like the XD) --supported chambers model: +1 on a long slide/bbl .45acp |

Once you quit shooting all those other guns, you don't notice the grip angle thing any more. You get used to it and other handguns feel funny.

+1 Only thing I'd like them to do is make a 35 in .357 sig from the factory. Maybe make their standard sights steel. The rest I like. |

Integrated "Beamz"
10mm .50 Grip safety (Front of the grip middle finger) and still keep the trigger safety. Slide release moved about a half inch twards the rear. Slide style choices: Stainless, OD, Tan. Threaded barrels on all models. |

no finger grooves and adjustable backstrap kinda like smith m&p and hk p2000 etc. maybe if the grip would agree with my hand better i would buy one.

I sent them a letter. Not that it will do a damn bit of good... but if they would make a .45 based on the 37, only with a 4" barrel and a full length frame instead of that stupid palm-pinching half-grip abortion, they'd sell the fucking hell out of them. Think about it - a Commander-size Glock single stack no wider than a G17.
But no...they have to fuck around with that ignorant .45 GAP bullshit. |

+1 - Had a few Glocks, didn't point right. Sold 'em all at a loss. Give us interchangeable grips to customize the angle, and I will buy a few. |

I want to see a Glock frame with light rail but no finger grooves. I don't want any funky interchangeable grip pieces bullshit, just a one piece frame.
And offer Heinie or Sevigny sights from the factory. That would make me perfectly happy. |

Not sure about a 4th gen Glock...maybe a 17 sized frame with a 19 sized slide would be my ideal all around gun.

Maybe I wasn't clear on what I said. What I meant was that there is nothing wrong with the grip angle of the Glock, it's just different that what some people are used to, so it feels funny at first, but you get used to it fast. Others (mainly 1911 shooters) like to say there is something wrong with the angle, but like I said, it's just different. It's like driving someone else truck/car. I'm very used to my truck, the way it feels, steers, etc. When I get in someone else truck/car to drive it, it feels strange, uncomfortable, ackward. |

Another +1. I went from an HK to a Glock. What grip angle, what spongy recoil? After 1500+ rounds the Glocks fits me good. (G30 & G29) I would maybe try to thin her down a bit. Uh, or not.

Explain this one for me. I'm no Glock Mechanic, but I don't know of any problems with these, except for the competition shooters that use lighter weight springs. |

Do something to make the trigger less sproingy.
Lose the finger grooves Never again make a gun where half the grip is composed of a magazine base. On the doublestack guns, round the slides Make a 8+1 9mm that's 1" thick. Make a 7+1 .45 that's the same size and thickness as my Kimber Compact. I would be okay with exchangeable backstraps as long as I can have one exactly the way it is now. On all the interchangeable backstrap guns I've tried, none of the backstraps felt right. (SW99, P99, P2000) |

Just a tiny beavertail. Tiny. I have a small scar from repeated scrapings on the web of my right hand when I grab & go too high in a hurry. But it has to be tiny, to keep the high grip...
Everything else should stay the way it is. |

I prefer the Glock grip angle. 1911s, Sigs, HKs all point low for me. Only Glock and Steyrs point correctly.

Im fine with whats in the 9mm models, but Ive always felt the .45 and ESPECIALLY the .40s could use a pound or two more weight to increase the dwell time before unlocking. |

Glock improvements:
1. Remove hump from bottom rear of grip & add beavertail. 2. Add frame-mounted thumb safety & remove trigger safety & trigger take-up. 3. Make full size version of .45 ACP G36 with above improvements. 4. All-steel magazines that trult drop free. 5. Steel sights. |

Why? If GLOCK wants to expand their government sales, they need to do it... Not that I'd like to see a Glock for an issue pistol, but right now GLOCK can't sell to the US military because their weapons lack this feature... |
