Does anyone know if the New Englanf Firearms "Pardner" pump and the Remmington 870  parts are interchangable?  Things like stocks, forearm, and barrels?  The NEF receiver looks like a clone of the 870.  Just wanting to know.

I too been wondering this same question since I got my NEF about 3 months ago.  I want to put a sight on and use a Remmington side mount but not sure if it'll fit.

Call H&R/NEF customer service @ (978) 630-8220.  They should be able to tell you if it is an 870 clone or whether it will accept Remington accessories.

Good news. NOT METRIC. Slide, stocks, endcaps, followers, trigger pins, trigger group, majority small parts, BOLT are all interchangeable.

I tried with a older Wingmaster.

That is all very interesting.  So, almost everything is interchangable, not barrels.  So is this a Norinco shotgun imported by Marlin with the NEF label on it?

All I know is that the gun is stamped HAWK INDUSTRIES (aka Norinco) on the receiver with NEF on the barrel.

I just finished my setup on mine. This is what it has:

Gun                                             $200
Sidesaddle                                 $35
TruGlo Bead                               $15
Daniel Defense Ambi Loop        $30
Homemade Single Point Sling   $20

Total                                            $300

Good deal for a complete HD shotty.

Yep. There's no way anyone could ever effectivly defend themselves without a light on their shotgun.

Pictures, light and other to follow. Haven't had the time to put the pic up, light mount on order. I am going to use a M3.

Outstanding read

That is a great way to build a shotgun on a budget using the preferred 870 platform, but a clone.
