Happened to snag a collapsible stock and grip from a local store for $225. I much prefer the contour of the Benelli pistol grip vs the Mesa Tactical pistol grip I used to have. The Mesa grips are a bit more squared on the back, and aren't quite as comfortable.

The last MK-I were as pictured because the USMC stopped the use of the rifled sights. My Mk-I was probably a DOD shotgun or part of a foreign military aid package. Regards |

I swapped the Choate pistol-grip with a Remington stock I had and pulled the Wilson extension off my 870 as a fill-in until I can order another. I'll probably order an S&J extension as their specs show it to be 3/4" longer than the Wilson, which should put it flush with the muzzle (the barrel was cut at 18.75" to coincide with the vent rib). When I picked it up, I mentioned to the consigner that I had seen it when it was listed previously a few weeks ago and bid on it, but didn't win it then. She said, "Oh, no...that was a different one. This guy had two just alike." I was expecting the worst...the plan before I saw it was to have it parkerized, but was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up. I was expecting something that looked like it was captured from Saddam Hussein's palace. |
