Difference between Eotech models

Would anyone know the difference between these two models?
Best I can tell, they are both EXPS 2, but they are obviously different.

Top image is an XPS series (either 2 or 3)
Bottom image is an EXPS.
What else are you looking for?

EXPS series has QD base integrated, has a higher optical axis.
Can't never could 'til try came along.

Note the location of the adjustment buttons.
If you put a magnifier behind the one with the buttons on the ass end... you can't readily reach them with the magnifier in the way.

Button location and QD lever. If you run a magnifier, you’ll want buttons on the side. The QD lever is a convenience option IMHO.
