I finally got a 20S in .308 (NRCH) and took it to the range on Sunday with Stephen101st.  Shot 90 or so rounds suppressed out to 670yds and it ran like a boss.  I dig this set-up.

The RC2 is definitely a nice suppressor.  I'm currently running a SOCOM 300 SPS on the 20S and I also have an RC2 mini that I run on my SCAR 17 SBR.

It may not be the correct issued SCAR Mk20 suppressor, but I will say, it looks right at home on the SCAR 20 - like it was made for it.

Indeed. I'm sad I can't get one of the cool reflex suppresses that look so good on the SCAR but the SF SOCOM seems like a good alternative.  The 300 SPS seems like another good fit.

Looks like another AR abortion.

I'm also not getting the folding tube stock trend in a lot of recent designs. Makes zero sense to have a (bulky) buffer tube without a buffer.

So does the 6.5 have a stepped barrel or is that an early model that has been updated to non-stepped barrel?

It looks SCAR based to me. The barrel trunnion mounts look identical to the SCAR and you can see the hole for the cocking handle in the bolt carrier even though it has an AR charging handle. It’s like someone tried to graft as many AR features on a scar as possible.

Is AAC still making M4-2000s?

SBR SCAR 16s with suppressors, particularly the M4-2000 - man - they just look right to me...that's awesome.

Sometimes incremental changes are the best. I too got a new mount. In the end I’ll probably have a FDE Spuhr but for now I swapped the 1.35” NF rings for a 1.5” Mag mount.

Looks great. How do you like the ski boot versus the OEM stock?

BTW - D Wilson just chopped a 20S barrel to 14” with a permattached SF mount. Hopefully we see pics in here.

I haven’t shot it with the boot stock yet. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to rezero it next week and can do the Pepsi challenge between the two.

Oh baby. 14” should put the suppressor flush with the end of the rail. Looking forward to pictures of that.

Vortex's brown/bronze finish goes really well with SCARs. Love the contrast.

Well done. Those are all very nice.

Got a chance to shoot with the ugg boot, it was too windy to form any conclusions about accuracy but from a comfort standpoint shooting it back to back with the precision I only noticed it giving up some comfort in the prone off the bipod. Standing off the tripod, off hand and kneeling I didn’t notice any difference. Not ready to sell the fixed stock just yet but the folding stock is a nice option to have.

I dig the color.  Has it been coated?  I've seen OD-ish upper receivers, like mine above, but not the lowers.

That's good feedback on the Ugg boot versus the fixed stock.  I installed the rear monopod on the fixed stock and it was a huge improvement for bench shooting.

Midwest industries SSR-MLOK Rail Extension.
Sorry, on the carpet the rail portion of the SCAR receiver sometimes blends in and makes it look like a sloppy top-rail matchup between the Midwest extension and receiver top rails, but it's very nice.
This is how all SCARs should come. Makes it way nicer to handle.

Anyone know why I'm seeing new 16s having multi caliber on the receiver instead of the usual 5.56? FN offering caliber options?

300blk most likely. They have a pretty sizable contract with France to provide PDWs in 300 blackout and are hopefully going to let that trickle down to the us consumer market.
