Thanks Brother. I was opening up my wallet to buy an APC when I I thought I’d toss an offer at her previous owner that I thought would be laughed at or ignored. I mean EMC with MAMS for APC money? You can’t say no to that. This has always been my grail rifle. I had an ER and Mk11 NSW return suppressor I had to sell to pay for custody fight but while I had the 20 inch gun I always wanted it to be this one. Yup so it feels good to be back in the game.

Her name is MONICA.

Just scooped a 4-16x ATACR Mil-XT off the Hide, NIB. So that means I have a pair of KAC 34mm mounts and a CQBSS to unload.

I really think I'm gonna enjoy this setup a lot more. Just need to find a NF A357 mount, and an NX8 and A496 for the mini-recce.

I love NF. I hope you like the NX8. On paper it was anything I’ve ever wanted. But the reticle... just didn’t work for me.  The dot is too big.

That said I think I’m going NF 4-16x42 in Mil XT for my EMC. The MK8 is nice but I like a little more mag available than 8 power.

Yeah the Mk8 left me wanting a little more. It's nice as hell and built like a fk'n tank though.

The 4-16 is a nice, compact size too.  I loved my S&B 3-20 Ultrashort, great glass, best turrets I've ever used but I wanted a better reticle.

Right? I am considering have a photographer capture the dimples and print me off a huge canvas for my living room.

I love the mod 2 gas system but these dimples... man. @jack_l I get that the Mil comes first as they should. We enthusiasts may someday need to defend our land and could really use a 16 inch 6.5 same profile as the EMC with the dimples and a Mod 2 gas system. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Or second choice would be KAC getting in bed with Proof and a 16 inch carbon 6.5 for the SR25...

Did someone say dimples? This is an EC barrel that I got off Geno a while back that was dimpled by Marvin Pitts @ Nefarious Arms. Going to eventually turn it into an m110k1. I find myself staring at it every now and again.

Maybe I’m alone in this opinion, but I have no use for Nightforce’s cantilever mounts. Two scopes over 20oz moved on me, and cross bolts had to be checked after each range session.  I’ve had zero issues with their rings, though.

Looking to finally finish this m110k1 off. Planning on buying an APC/ACC and break it down for the remaining parts and sell off everything else. Still need the upper and lower receivers, BCG and CH.  There’s one of each on GB right now for $4400ish. Is this a fair price for a new rifle? What do they go for used if I decide to be patient and search the second hand market?

As far as I know the only difference between them is the barrel. Is one barrel worth more than the other? Thanks gents.

Also going to get the process going on a PRS this week or next.

How do you like the set up,  was going back and forth on an 1-10, but think the 2-18 class with offset RMR makes more sense

I love the setup, it's still pretty light considering everything on it. Go higher power on the scope, I've tried multiple optics with different zoom ranges and the 3-18 or 5-20 is perfect for the 308 caliber.

Thats cool.

Here is another question,  I havent had a chance to do any accuracy testing or load development for mine,  But what type of practical accuracy are you seeing out of you ACC with a warm barrel,

I would like to shoot it against my 13.5 SS, MWS for accuracy when I get back to the states.

4400 is ok for a new rifle.  I have seen ACC's go as low as 3500 but ever since I got burnt on the EE a few years back on a DD Mk18 Upper,  I would rather pay the premium and just get it from a vendor

It is shooting tight but it seems like every 4-5 rounds it will throw one off about 3/4" from the rest of the group.  I saw 2 things in the kac forum where gas blocks can contact the mlok screws of the bipod rail on recoil. I'm going to fix that. I also saw Jack said the Mams can cause fliers in some testing. I might move to a flash hider since I run suppressed any how.

I have no poi shift with the suppressor on or off.

I’m digging the 1-8 VCOG on this rifle. I originally intended to run just a red dot, but I felt like I wasn’t getting the full potential at a distance.  1x is pretty damn good for a LPVO.Attachment Attached File

That's an absolute stunner of a setup. And appears to be as functional as it is sexy. Excellent presentation.

This closely mirrors my experience. Also, some COTS ammo has been more consistent than others as it relates to grouping.

I went away from MAMS on my SR-25s for the same reasons.

I loved my S&B 3-20 Ultra Short too but wanted a reticle more modern than the MSR so " downgraded" to a Nightforce.

Loved the turrets, form factor, glass, and zoom range though.
