Things are going well. Sometime around the middle of February they did a full workup and there was no detectable cancer is his brain, blood or bone marrow. Which is really good. However, it also means the next 2.5 years of chemo is mostly flying blind and just going through the checklist. We actually just ended the last phase of treatment last week and starting Friday go into the next phase. We're stepping down a bit from 4 to 5 days a week in Seattle to 3 days a week but man, its still a lot. I suppose I cant complain, work is super understanding about the situation and the treatment is available (30 years ago it'd probably be a death sentence) and hes responding well. He did have a spell of bad nausea 2 weeks back. Lasted about a week, stomach was always upset. But thats cleared up thankfully.
So it could be a whole lot worse for sure. Back in the saddle Friday for the next 2 months.
