I figure it's just far enough out that folks can have a better chance of getting the day free. Sattidy Feb 17th at 1100, Bur's Restaurant, 6151 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, Wa. If I can get a rough head count, I can reserve a table. Probably need that by the 11th. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and, with luck, a few new ones. Anyone who shows up gets a free BFL. Anyone who shows up in a speedo and a light oat of CLP gets a free breakfast.

Can't make it. stupid bill-payin' job. 18th I could. Been awhile since I've done a GTG

I'll be waiting for a ballet to start while fighting off panhandlers in PDX that day. Sorry. Plan something for April 2/3 around Seattle and I'm in.
|
|
I'll try to make it, been a while since I've been out of the barn--
ETA: Confirmed, see you there. |

It's unpossible to schedule for everyone. I picked a day I knew for certain that a couple guys could make. There will be more, as Matthew Quigley said, "for sure and for certain ".

Why can’t we do one in eastern wa? You know you all want to do a road trip…….

If this goes well, I will try to host them in every corner of the state.

On Wednesday, I'll make reservations for 12. Should be in the big room, so adding more may not be unpossible.

I wish I could, been hiding in the shadows for a long time now.
But the boy made it to the State Finals in swimming |

Y'all probably don't even remember me from before Kristallnacht but I've been on the periphery...
This sounds like a great opportunity to get me a lobster omelette. Can't pass that up. |

They do biscuits and gravy with real beef gravy, but I can only hope to get there before they run out. I almost aways miss it.

Go in the back door, turn left at the register. We're in the big dining room.

A dozen-ish crackers in the box. Two noobz showed up, but, trust me, we were gentle with them. I am a genuinely happy old buzzard today. So good to see these guys. The food was purty good, the waitress had, apparently, just come from a meeting with the IRS, or something. She was clearly angry. I wasn't sure it wasn't just me until she tried to tomahawk chop that coffee pot on the table. I hope my 60% tip made her a skosh happier.
Thanks, guys, for coming. We'll try to have another gtg before the next LCR. Attached File |

Man, I'm a goof. I have to apologize. I thought each of those bags had one sticker in it, so I took a bag...of five. I hope no one wanted orange.

I will try and make the next one, will be my first, so don’t know anyone on here yet.
|
|
I sent bobbity over 125 of them, so there should be plenty for everyone.

I was one of the noobz, despite being an arfcommer for 15 years. Haven’t been able to meet up, largely due to work, but I’m retired now. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and look forward to the next GTG. |

Damn. I only recognize you and Phil, but the ones sitting behind both of you look kinda familiar. I need to get out of my cave more.

Some of us are somewhat public figures, some of us are ok with outing, many of us are opsec prone. As a courtesy to everyone involved, I leave identification to those individuals.
When I was working, the general consensus was to give it ten years, then be as public as ya like. Too many old "customers " who would love to look you up, as it were. But, anyone who wants to out themselves is more than welcome. Tigerforce, it was good to meetcha. Come again. And again. |

I didn't want your real names just screen names, oh well enjoy your decals.

Fun part was Eac223 asking who Sixgunsblazing was as he sat across from me. Lol
