we need to choose as a group if we are going with either the big or small logo. I kind of prefer the smaller one, but Rescue prefers the larger. What do ya'll vote for? |

Cool deal. Since I am starting a new job on July 09, I didn't want to be nervy and ask for time off after being employed for a short period of time to pick up a lower. Then again, I do suffer from this sickness called black rifle disease, so that should be an excuse if it flares up when the lowers arrive! |

i got to look them over last week.
the larger logo looks better to me and seems to fit the lower better. beetle, i am finalising up my order this week. i have a couple i will be gifting away so i am trying to confirm what they want on theirs. i will have final info and payment for you by the 15th. |

Is a pic of the opposite side available?
I was under the impression this logo was to be where the logo usually is on a lower...why the opposite side? Can someone describe exactly what is on the opposite side and how it's laid out? |

actually, I think it is/was five so you may be ok. I'm working on getting a pic of the other side. it should look like what they have on their website tho. Rescue, I'll go look for your email now. ETA: I just realized that I assumed you guys were reading all of the details of this thread regarding shipping if you are having them shipped a second time from CombatArms rather than just picking them up from him (or another FFL for group purchases if you guys can get them together like the LA folks) - please read the first post again in it's entirety. If you fall into this category you'll have to pay the addtl shipping to the second FFL. Those of you who have emailed me and I screwed up by not specifying this again, I will try to work something out. |

IMPORTANT NOTE: The above picture varies slightly from what yours will look like. The above picture was sent from my home at about 0300 hours. It was the only one I could find that was handy at the time.
Yours will say "Cal. Multi" and will say "Mod. AA15" Not show in this picture is the area directly behind the magazine well. That area is free of any text or other markings. (This is the area that many manufacturers put the company name and city/state info. We do not need to do that because all of our info is already there as part of our logo.) This helps maintain the clean business like look of the receiver. You can also see a few examples of the (correct) lower at: AA15 Lower Receiver I hope this helps some. I think it's all my fault about the shipping misunderstanding. When I read Jon-Anvil_Arms post I thought it was somewhat of a revision of the shipping and meant they could be shipped direct from them if the number was 10 or more to that area. Guys in Baton Rouge Area, I contacted CombatArms about shipping them to us here in Baton Rouge. I was thinking if it is 7 receivers they should fit in one usps flat rate box but it will be real tight. Here is what the shipping looks like according to usps if we use usps fate rate boxes in a breaks down. 7 in 1 box insured for $800 should cost $18.50 that would be $2.64 each receiver 7 in 2 boxes insured for $900 should cost $29.80 that would be $4.26 a receiver 8 in 2 boxes insured for total $1000 should cost $30.70 would be $3.83 each receiver 9 in 2 boxes insured for total $1100 should cost $31.60 would be $3.52 10 in 2 boxes insured for total $1200 should cost $32.50 would be $3.25 a receiver So we need to figure out who is having them shipped to Baton Rouge, how many. The sooner the better. As of now I'm not sure of who to send the additional shipping funds to. If we need to send then directly to ConbatArms or if they can be sent to B.B.. I'm going to call B.B. at the end of the week and try and clear the additional shipping details up. |

No no no - you're right. AA will ship directly to you rather than CombatArms if there are a handful to go. You're good. I may have sent an email to you prematurely. It's mainly the other guys who aren't going in together with another FFL other than CombatArms that I'm speaking to.

Keith, I replied to your reply. Check and let me know if you have any better luck receiving it. Do you have your spam filter settings at like, "Code Red" or soemthing?  ALSO I will assume everyone wants their text in Arial font type for clarity, unless you specify otherwise. AA has expressed the ability to do other fonts, nothing wild but your usual MicroSoft Word fonts and the like. |

oh man, you are very welcome. No problem at all just giving back a little for what all you folks / the board have done for me. I wouldn't say anything yet though until everything goes through successfully!!  (which I'm sure it will)ETA: CombatArms really deserves praise. He is the one helping many of us out by negating the usual FFL fees and offering to intercept them all and the paperwork. |
