LOL So am I. I'm not sure I am up to doing this. Would be great if I can find someone local and at least watch in case I get the urge to put another together.

There is a guy in Georgia, name is panzersomething. He is good friends with @stimpsonjcat. He is a master builder of all things FAL. Not birmingham, but worth a day trip!

Barrel-swaps are usually pretty straightforward. Unless the bbl needs thread or shoulder work. Or the headspace changes to something that needs a locking shoulder size I don't have. I am in Dawsonville, for distance/time estimating purposes. |
