I'm in Havelock and have a few things that need pinned & welded.
Everyone locally keeps recommending Stumpy's in Jacksonville.
Has anyone used them specifically for p/w services... or have any other recommendations?
I've seen some horrible results out there, and just looking for someone trustworthy.

Stumpies that I know of is in Swansboro. I was not impressed by the work or price on a rail my son had them work on.  YMMV

I use Ballistic Research and Machine in Jacksonville @ 910-324-4900. Great guys.  They build suppressors and are a NFA Mfg. had a friggin terrific pin-n-weld done there.

I was thinking Swansboro, but my fingers weren't.
I looked at BRM's FB page, and it seems like they do great work.

Man, I can't thank you enough for referring BRM.
I called them this a.m. and asked if they could do it. They told me to come on.
I left work early and got there around 130p and waited while they p/w'd two bbls.
While I was waiting, Perry (owner) let me test-drive a few cans out back, showed me around the shop and their impressive collection.
We talked for quite awhile... just a good solid dude!
I was headed back home around 3p, happy as hell.
Great people, great work and great prices... couldn't be happier!
