I’m hoping some of our German speaking friends can help me out. I’m trying to translate the phrase “sandbar commando” from English to German. I’m coming up with “sandbank kommando.” Is this correct?

In English a sandbar is a geographical feature made of sand located in shallow water. It is often above the waterline at low tide and just below the waterline at high tide.

A commando is a specially trained soldier fighting in a small group or small team.

Thanks for your help!
